Hi, I’m Melissa – an award-winning Burlington maternity and family photographer known for capturing heartfelt, story-driven images. I’m also a wife and mom to two wild boys, so I understand just how full this season of life can be.
My passion for storytelling began long before photography, with a background in film, television, and travel writing, before founding Melissa Shearer Photography a decade ago. Today, I specialize in maternity and family photography, creating natural, emotive images that feel timeless and deeply personal.
Through a curated, collaborative experience – including access to my carefully selected client closet – my goal is to take things off your to-do list while helping you feel confident, comfortable, and beautifully seen.
